The Central Council of Church Bell Ringers asked all bell ringers to ring the bells in their churches on 11th November at 12.30pm to remember the Armistice in 1918 which brought the First World War to a close.
The Minster bells rang at that time for 15 minutes, and the band included five of our newest ringers who only started learning when our new bells arrived last year.
